FAMILY READING NIGHT

Family Reading Night will be held on Thursday, November 18th from 7-8 pm.  We will read stories and have crafts available.  Since this is an “after hours” event we are going to have a pajama party.  Wear your comfy jammies and feel free to bring a favorite stuffed toy.

In preparation for this event we are having a reading challenge to go with our theme Reading Colors Your World.  The challenge is to Read the Rainbow.  Come by the library to pick up your reading challenge sheet.  Once it is completed you can bring it back to the library to get a prize.  You have until the Family Reading Night event to complete the challenge.

1000 BOOKS BEFORE KINDERGARTEN

The Germantown Public Library is participating in the 1000 Books Before Kindergarten program.  Some of you may have started this before everything shut down in 2020.  If you have completed reading the 1000 books with your child come by the library and they can collect their prize.  If you are interested in starting the program stop by to register and get started reading.  Everyone who completes the program will get a book and a special reading pillow.
