Germantown Library is happy to provide eBooks and eAudiobooks to our patrons through the Cloud Library. The Cloud Library is a free app that includes thousands of electronic titles for all ages and links up to your online library account. The Cloud Library is compatible with many devices including: Apple devices, Android tablets and phones, Kindle Fires, PCs and Macs (then transfer to your Nook or Kobo eReader).
To set up, download the app for your device from http://yourcloudlibrary.com and choose Illinois Heartland Library System as your local library. Log in one time with your library card number and pin. You’re all set to read or listen to your favorite eBooks and eAudiobooks any time, anywhere. Check out up to five titles at a time and keep them for up to 21 days, when items automatically expire from your account. There is never a late fee!
Once you’ve downloaded the app, there are 2 ways to use the Cloud Library (searching, checking out, managing your account, etc.):
- from the Cloud App on your device or
- from the regular Germantown Library catalog http://gmtp.illshareit.com
