With the new school year beginning, we are once again enjoying visits by classes from Germantown Elementary and Siblings Day Care.  We really do love reading to the kids and helping them find just the right book.  If you are a student (or have a student) and are wondering how to find Accelerated Reader books at a certain level, thinking about trying eBooks or would like to request items from other Illinois libraries, please let us know if you have questions.  We’re always glad to help spread the joy of reading!

This Saturday, August 15, the library will be represented in the Spassfest Parade by several of our library trustees.  Watch for the pickup truck with Germantown Library signs on it and be ready to catch some of the goodies we’ll be tossing.  Hope to see you there!
