The library will be closing at 5:30 pm on Thursday, August 11^th.  The librarian will be attending the Open House at Germantown Elementary School.  If you are attending the open house stop by the library table to update information, fill out an application for a library card, or have your questions answered.

Parents of Germantown Elementary School students – If you are not able to attend the open house please call the library at 618-523-4820 to update information on your child’s account.

The August board meeting has been rescheduled for Thursday, August 18^th.  The meeting will begin at 6:30 pm.

The Accelerate Broadband Committee within the Kaskaskia College Region on behalf of the Clinton County Board has prepared a survey to determine the need for expanded broadband service. The link to the survey is https://illinoisaces.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eqSTPXzoGJMSZkG

If you know of someone who does not have internet access at home, please let them know the library has paper copies of the survey they can complete. The library also has computers for public use if they would like to complete the survey online.

Every household that completes the survey will be entered into a prize drawing to be held in late July.
