In late April, we were fortunate to have several groups of young people stop by to help beautify the library for Earth Day. Â First, a group of junior high students from Germantown Elementary worked outside to sweep up leaves, knock down cobwebs and clean the windows. Â Then they came inside and made lots of really creative bookmarks for us. Â Later, the Germantown girl scout troop brought a flowering plant to dress up our window. Â In the picture above, Miss Perri accepts the flowers from some of the smiling scouts. Â It looks like Germantown will be well taken care of by this younger generation. Â The library, along with Mother Earth, thanks you all!
